The Mountshannon Festival of Arts (25th May – 5th June 2017).
The Mountshannon Arts Festival is an annual festival held at various locations in and around the beautiful lakeside village of Mountshannon in Co Clare. The festival opens in Mountshannon on 2nd June with the official Opening Ceremony and the festival continues on through to the Bank Holiday weekend, finishing on 6th June. The Festival is produced in association with Mountshannon Community Council, An Comhairle Ealaíon/The Arts Council, and Clare County Council. Festival programme available here.

5 Days of music, song, dance with concerts, Céili’s, workshops, lectures, recitals, singing and sessions. The Festival is based in the homely village of Feakle, East Clare, Co. Clare, Ireland. The Feakle Music Festival has it’s origins within the rich array of musical talents that abound on the East Clare area. From the era of the house dance, through the Hall dances and pub sessions – a rich tradition has been maintained and strengthened thus eminating in a very successful Music Festival. The Festival started some years ago in 1988 and has gone from strength to strength. It is now respected worldwide as one of the best of it’s kind in the country.

Scariff Harbour Festival : 29th July – 1st August, 2017
Launched in 2003, the annual Waterways Ireland Scariff Harbour Festival is an open-air, street-based event showcasing the many attractions and amenities accessible from Scariff. The three-day festival, which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend, offers a varied programme of activities, arts, music and entertainment inspired by the the“lake” theme ie: canoeing and kayaking, climbing wall, water balls.
